About the scans
The images on this site have been scanned by different organizations, as indicated in either the Contributor field or in the Rights statement for a particular image.
Images "Scanned by the Local History Room" were digitized here at the Kingston Public Library between 2008 and the present. This is an ongoing project of the Local History Room.
Images "Scanned by the Boston Public Library" were digitized through a Library Services and Technology Act grant awarded through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and administered by the Boston Public Library and the Digital Commonwealth in 2012 and 2013. Images with the Rights statement "Digital image courtesy of the Massachusetts Historical Commission's MACRIS database" were downloaded from that site
in 2012.
